Egis Asia Philippines is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Officer to design future electrical networks, including distribution and transmission lines, substations, and detailed drawings for projects in the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East. You'll work with MicroStation or AutoCAD, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure designs meet client specs and standards

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of design and/or drafting experience.
• Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and P&ID.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work on international projects.

Responsibilities

• Design distribution & transmission overhead and underground lines.
• Design distribution substations and prepare detailed drawings.
• Prepare project scoping and cost estimating.
• Create documentation and coordinate with engineers.
• Participate in site works and client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with standards and client specifications.

Job Description

Design the electrical networks for the future at Egis Asia Philippines. We are supporting clients with EV charging, batteries, renewables, and much more. Egis Asia Philippines is seeking experienced Technical Officers/Designers to expand our Transmission & Distribution Design business, addressing projects in the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East. Join a growing team within an employee-owned international company.

• Design of distribution & transmission overhead and underground lines / cable networks,
• Design of distribution substations,
• Preparation of detailed design drawings and documentation,
• Project scoping and cost estimating,
• Complete tasks in our offices, on-site, and at client locations,
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to deliver high-quality projects,
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and client specifications,
• Participate in technical meetings and provide design input as required.

Qualifications

• Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Electrical Engineering,
• Minimum 2 years of design and/or drafting experience,,
• With working experience in using MicroStation (as a main design / drafting software), AutoCAD, NEARA, PLS CADD, CATAN, or similar design software,
• Effective written and verbal communication skills,
• Team player, willing to work on international projects,
• Ability to work closely with other engineers and designers,
• With basic understanding of distribution systems,
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&ID, SLD,
• Working knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering principles,
• Strong desire to learn and grow within the organization.
