Collaboration with civil, mechanical, and environmental engineers is essential to deliver high-quality solutions. The role requires a BS Electrical Engineering, and licensure is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs using CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent).
• Apply engineering methods to design electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, wiring, and security systems.
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes and regulations.
• Perform PV system layout design and PV system modeling.
• Conduct simulations, testing, and failure analysis for electrical designs.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) with material take-offs, specs, and cost estimates.

About the role

Power 4 All, Inc. is currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. You will conceive, develop, and oversee designs for electrical systems tailored to these specific applications. You'll ensure that these systems meet regulatory standards, performance criteria, and sustainability goals. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is key to delivering high-quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs using CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent)
• Apply engineering solutions and methods to design electrical systems such as interior/exterior lighting, low voltage power distribution, wiring installations, telecommunications, fire detection, alarms, and security systems
• Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Utilize solar design and simulation tools such as PVSyst and Helioscope for photovoltaic system modeling, performance analysis, and system optimization
• Perform PV system layout design including string configuration, module arrangement, and inverter sizing for solar PV projects
• Conduct in-depth simulations, testing, and failure analyses for electrical designs and customized client requests
• Provide technical solutions for complex electrical issues, including SPS, multi-switching frequency products, and UPS systems
• Perform circuit design, analysis, and testing of active and passive components, in line with standard principles and best practices
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), including material take-offs, specifications, and cost estimates
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, and environmental engineers) in integrated project delivery

About you

• Graduate of BS Electrical Engineering
• Licensure in Electrical Engineering is an advantage
• Experience in HV and MV design
• Preferably with experience in Construction Management
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Experience in solar PV design tools (PVSyst, Helioscope) and PV system modeling is an advantage
• Experience in PV layout design and solar project engineering is highly preferred
• Can do basic cost estimates monitoring, knowledgeable in documentations, reports and methodologies
• Background with Water and Wastewater Electrical design works is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project issues
