ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Location: Clark, Pampanga
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:00am to 4:00pm
Work Arrangement: Onsite

ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Electrical Design Engineer will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the following tasks:
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Working within the Manufacturing Division's Design and Engineering team to deliver set goals and objectives.
- Designing circuit diagrams and switchboard general arrangements using AutoCAD.
- Ensuring that all design results meet the customer's requirements in accordance with the company, Statutory, Regulatory, and relevant Australian Standards i.e. AS61439 and project specific specifications.
- Liaising with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that design requirements and documentation are obtained, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders.
- Actively taking part in all the Manufacturing Division's Safety requirements set by the client.
- Actively working with and ensuring that all Quality and Environmental System requirements for the Manufacturing Division are being met with a positive attitude.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Tertiary Engineering qualification or trade certificate.
- Minimum 5 years local experience in electrical drafting particularly in the switchboard industry.
- Knowledge in electrical switchboards, control systems, motor control, power distribution electrical installations, and manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of all guidelines, Statutory and Regulatory and the new Australian Standard specification relevant to the design of switchboards. (IEC or AS/NZS 61439.1)
- Possess excellent knowledge and experience with commonly used supplier equipment such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider and NHP.
- Must be able to produce a layout of the switchboard with minimal supervision.
- Proficient use of AutoCAD (minimum 3 years of experience) and Microsoft Office packages.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic outlook Leadership experience and/or aspirations.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Willingness to work as directed.
