Job summary

SGS in Metro Manila seeks an enthusiastic field technician to support environmental sampling across air, water, soil, and related services. You will assist senior staff, prepare reagents, and maintain equipment, while ensuring strict adherence to QHSEE policies and safety procedures.

The role requires an engineering or technical degree with 2 years of relevant experience, plus fluent English and a valid driving license for field tasks.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree or diploma with 2 years relevant experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Driver's license required for field duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist EHS and CEMs Services teams in environmental sampling operations (air, water, soil) and related field services.
• Prepare reagents and solutions for sampling.
• Prepare and update reports on sampling and analysis, including quality control charts.
• Operate and maintain sampling and analysis equipment.
• Adhere to SGS QHSEE policies and participate in safety trainings and drills.
• Respond to emergencies and support readiness in the workplace.
• Dispose of waste per regulations and SGS Environmental Management System.
• Report incidents and near misses to improve safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe worksite following 5S guidelines and SGS procedures.
