Job summary

SGS, based in Makati, Philippines, is seeking an Environmental Sampling Assistant to support the EHS team in field sampling across air, water, and soil analyses. You will standardize reagents, operate sampling equipment, and prepare reports, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality policies.

The role requires an Engineering or technical degree with 2 years of relevant experience, a valid driving license, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering or technical course with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Clean driving license preferred for field duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the EHS Specialist II and CEMs Services Specialist in air, water/wastewater, soil/sediments and other environmental sampling operations and related field services.
• Standardize and prepare reagents and solutions for use in sampling.
• Prepare and update reports related to environmental sampling and analysis, including QC charts.
• Operate and maintain equipment for sampling and analysis.
• Perform related duties to support departmental goals, training, or development as assigned.
• Comply with QHSEE policies and participate in safety and incident reporting and investigations.
