Qualifications

• Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development (CIT) or Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC).
• Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY).
• Registered with ECDA with EY1/EY2 certification.
• Ability to work professionally, independently and with good classroom and management skills.

About the role

This role involves promoting the Centre's vision, mission and values while fostering relationships with families to facilitate the continuity of care and learning between home and school. You will coordinate activities with families and community stakeholders, engage families, caregivers, community stakeholders and volunteers to develop programmes and services, and manage family and community collaboration. The role includes developing Centre, family and community initiatives and programmes, developing outreach activities to promote Centre programmes and services, evaluating family and community initiatives and programmes for improvements, and conducting routine and care-giving.

About you

• Has Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development (CIT)/ Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC); Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
• Has registered with ECDA and attained the EY1/EY2 certification
• Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently with good classroom and management skills
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
• Able execute reflective practice and adopt responsive care-giving approaches
