About the opportunity

The Service Consultant role is aligned to a North American Eastern Standard Time and requires a night shift in Mauritius. The Consultant is responsible for providing guidance on the implementation of Dayforce core modules (WFM, Payroll and/or Benefits) for new or existing customers adding a new Dayforce core module. The consultant uses reliable, repeatable, and quality implementation practices to come up with the optimal solution, satisfying the customer’s need. The Consultant works closely with the Project Manager for Implementation projects to plan the project and identify critical dependencies.

This role does NOT develop code.

What you'll get to do

  1. Document and validate customer’s business requirements.
  2. Conduct consulting sessions with the customer and document with meeting minutes.
  3. Provide guidance and best practices to the customer on Dayforce core modules (WFM, Payroll and/or Benefits) to meet customer’s documented requirements.
  4. Test and implement solutions for customers.
  5. Attend project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely updates within the project tracking, time tracking and customer billing system.
  7. Be a “go-to” resource for specific Dayforce core modules’ areas for internal and external users.
  8. Complete new release training on a timely basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release.

  3. Ability to engage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manage priorities accordingly.
  4. Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
  5. Ability to lead and facilitate customer workshops and sessions.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Prior functional experience with Dayforce HCM would be an asset.
  8. Prior consultative experience with employee data integration or HCM software.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  10. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, IT, or any IT related field.
  11. 3-5 years’ of HCM consulting experience with an HCM software provider preferably with a focus on Dayforce core modules (WFM, Payroll and/or Benefits).
  12. Excellent English and French, written and spoken is required.
  13. Analytical thinking is required.
  14. Experience working with North American clients and vendors a benefit.

Working Schedule: 3 PM to 1 AM (Night Shift)
