Dr Mark Leong Pte Ltd is seeking a passionate Video Editor to transform raw footage into engaging social media content across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. You will combine strong editing skills with AI tools and stay ahead of trends to capture attention and boost engagement.

You'll edit around 10 clips weekly, collaborate with the team, and experiment with new techniques to enhance content performance while maintaining brand consistency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in video editing or social media content creation.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels.
• Knowledge of AI-powered editing tools and willingness to learn.
• Ability to create engaging, platform-appropriate videos that align with brand.

Responsibilities

• Edit about 10 raw footage per week into engaging, polished and platform-appropriate videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other relevant social media channels.
• Monitor current social media trends, viral video formats, editing styles, hooks, transitions, captions and visual techniques to identify opportunities that can be adapted to the organization’s content and audience.
• Proactively contribute video concepts, editing ideas and creative approaches that can improve audience attention, engagement and content performance, rather than relying solely on provided concepts or instructions.
• Test and explore new editing styles, effects, transitions, storytelling techniques, captioning formats, animations and other creative approaches to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of social media content.
• Explore and apply relevant AI tools and emerging technologies in video editing, content creation, visual enhancement, captioning and ideation to improve creative output, efficiency and production capabilities.
• Adapt video content, pacing, length, format, captions, visual elements and storytelling techniques according to the requirements and audience behaviour of different social media platforms to maximise content effectiveness.
• Review the performance and audience response of published videos and use relevant insights to identify what works, what can be improved and what new approaches should be tested in future content.
• Ensure all edited videos meet the required standards for visual quality, accuracy, branding, messaging and presentation before publication, while maintaining a consistent brand identity across social media content.
