Job summary

Deutsche Bank Philippines is seeking a Finance Analyst to support month-end close for APAC entities and coordinate with Manila teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, familiarity with SAP, and the ability to work hybrid hours (2pm–11pm Philippine time) to align with global processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required.

• SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review month-end results for APAC entities and coordinate with Manila teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure accuracy of Financial Statements for statutory audits.
• Perform balance sheet deep dives, substantiation, and aging reviews.
• Prepare tax-related regulatory reports.
• Create internal reports and variance analyses.
• Support ad hoc queries and reporting needs promptly.
• Assist projects and drive process-improvement initiatives.
• Maintain guidelines to meet KPIs and standards.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Review month-end results of specific APAC entities and coordinate with DWS Manila teams and onshore stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure accuracy of Financial Statements for statutory annual audit.
• Conduct balance sheet deep dives, balance sheet substantiation processes, and review aging.
• Prepare reports, including tax-related requirements, for regulatory submission.
• Prepare internal reports and analysis, including commentary and variance analysis.
• Support adhoc queries and reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist and support project deliverables and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update operational guidelines, ensuring adherence to standards, KPIs, objectives, and procedures.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance-related field with Accounting courses.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to evaluate information systematically and provide solutions addressing both issues and the big picture.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows while applying critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
• Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
• Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Amenable to midshift schedule (2pm to 11pm).
