Overview

The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a dump truck to transport and deliver various materials, such as sand, gravel, dirt, and other construction materials, to designated job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump truck safely and efficiently according to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload materials from dump truck accurately and efficiently.
• Plan and execute delivery routes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Inspect vehicle before and after each trip, ensuring it is in safe operating condition.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (e.g., tire pressure, fluid levels).
• Maintain accurate driving logs and records.

Safety and Compliance

• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized driving record.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.

Site Work

• Assist with site preparation and cleanup as needed.
• Follow site-specific safety instructions and procedures.

Other Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager/Supervisor.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience required.
