Job summary

Pelican Distribution, Inc. in Tacloban seeks a driver-seller to develop van-selling operations in assigned outlets and promote products. You will deliver, collect payments, and maintain sales records across Samar. Valid driver’s license and knowledge of panel trucks are a plus.

72 college units or a 2-year vocational course is acceptable, with incentives, benefits, and opportunities for growth described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 72 college units or completed a 2-year vocational course.
• Sales aptitude and willingness to perform field work with irregular hours.
• Valid Professional Driver's License RC 123 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of panel type trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain van-selling operations in assigned outlets/areas to increase the flow of VFI products through wholesale/retail trade and institutional accounts.
• Responsible for custodianship, promotion, merchandising, distribution and delivery of products and collection of payments.
• Route coverage within SAMAR to visit customers and identify and secure new sales opportunities and penetrate all available sales channels.
• Maintain and create accurate sales records and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Acquired a minimum of 72 units in College or at least completed a 2-year vocational course

• Demonstrates sales aptitude and a willingness to perform field work under irregular working hours

• Holds a valid Professional Driver's License RC 123 or equivalent

• Preferably knowledgeable in driving panel type trucks
