Job summary

Aurecon, headquartered in Australia, is seeking a Roads Drafter to support detailed design outputs for transport projects. You will prepare 2D/3D drawings and assist engineers in documenting road and civil infrastructure work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of relevant drafting experience, strong AutoCAD 2D skills and Civil 3D proficiency, and a track record of delivering high-quality drawings. Australian project experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant drafting experience.
• Competent in AutoCAD 2D generally.
• Demonstrated experience in Road Project design drawing production.
• Demonstrated experience working with a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality drawings.
• Australian project experience will be viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update technical drawings and documentation in accordance with project standards.
• Support the design team by managing drawing revisions, document control and ensuring quality control.
• Produce 2D and 3D documentation using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Assist with the digital setup of projects and contribute to efficient documentation workflows.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure accuracy and integration of design information.

What will you do?

As a Roads Drafter, you will bring to life the detailed design outputs that form the foundation of Aurecon’s award-winning transport projects. You’ll support engineers and designers in preparing accurate plans, sections, and construction documentation for road and civil infrastructure projects. You’ll be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team working on some of Australia’s most significant transport infrastructure projects, reimagining how roads can shape a more sustainable and connected world.
