Key Responsibilities

• Feeding & Hydration: Providing appropriate food, water, and treats as directed by owners or facility protocols.
• Exercise & Play: Walking dogs, supervising playtime, and ensuring they get enough physical activity.
• Health Monitoring: Observing for signs of illness or distress, administering medications, and performing basic wound care or grooming (bathing, nail trims).
• Medication Administration: Experience administering medications to dogs is preferred but not required.
• Cleaning: Maintaining clean and sanitary living areas, runs, and play spaces, by removing waste and disinfecting.
• Safety & Security: Following protocols to keep dogs safe, managing them in various environments, and handling overnight needs if live-in.
• Dog Handling: Must be comfortable handling all types of breed dogs.
• Record Keeping: Logging feeding, exercise, and medication schedules.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 6-12 months experience in dog care required.
