Job description

The District Sales Specialist is responsible for understanding and developing South West Manila territory to maximize and grow revenue and profits by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services for Consumer Care Products, Inc. - Pet Care Division within the territory. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the incumbent is responsible for achieving sales quota in the assigned product lines, and for supporting the product-line success of an assigned team of account specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Consumer Care Products, Inc. – Pet care division via successful completion of the required sales training program.
  • Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports company revenue and profit targets.
  • Optimize business development plan by working closely with the team to maximize time in the field and overall efficiency through the development and prequalification of leads.
  • Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to customers’ real-time needs.
  • Supports the success of the assigned team of Account Specialists.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines.
  • Evaluate customer’s skills, and needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attend meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data.
  • Responds to the customer support requirements of the supported team, including, including account management and business development sales representatives, implementation and service personnel, and other sales and management resources as needed. ·
  • Work effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Warehouse and Logistics, Accounting, etc.)
  • Maintain and expand client database within territories covered in South West Manila.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing, Veterinary, or equivalent.
  • Must have at least five years of sales experience in a business-to-business up large/strategic customer segment and/or business-to-consumer setting
  • Good negotiation skills and Client building relationship
  • In-depth client interaction, presentation, and detailing skills
  • People Management skillset
  • Results-oriented, tenacious, self-starter who strategically plans for success.
  • Demonstrates impeccable sales acumen with passion and drive for success
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both development and delivery
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory in GMA.
  • Must have up to date driver’s license (non-professional 1 and 2 minimum requirement)
