Job summary

Thermovar Pipes Sales and Services is seeking a operations professional to manage supply chain processes for retail consignment and branch distribution centers. The role focuses on improving inventory accuracy while maintaining high customer service levels.

The candidate will champion inventory accuracy, set performance metrics for retail distribution, and design plans to continually improve consignment and distribution operations. Strong detail orientation and record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Logistics or Operations Management experience is required.
• 1 year working experience in related field.
• Must be able to maintain organized records.
• Must be keen into details with a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Champions achieving inventory accuracy while providing good customer service.
• Establishes performance metrics for retail distribution.
• Designs and implements plans to continually improve consignment and distribution processes.
• Works with Inventory Analyst/Coordinator to analyze and resolve variances as quickly as possible.
• Evaluates requests for transfer of goods to consigned facilities by checking stock levels and other indicators of acceptability; processes transfer orders to item transfers.
• Evaluates consignment and branch sale correctness, billability, and stock availability; processes sale orders to invoices.
• Processes other necessary retail/branch inventory transactions such as conversions, returns, and expenses.
