Overview

Gardenia Bakeries Philippines is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Leadman to support the Distribution Supervisor in overseeing daily distribution operations. The role involves truck scheduling, monitoring of third-party truckers, expense and document management, ISO/HACCP compliance, and other related logistics functions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of distribution processes and the ability to lead with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Fleet Coordination: Monitor the delivery fleet's operational status, including new unit deliveries, repairs, breakdowns, and regular preventive maintenance.
  • Truck Scheduling: Schedule delivery trucks based on sales demand, including transfer and preload trucks. Allocate field personnel according to delivery schedules.
  • Expense Management: Prepare distribution-related expense reports, including reimbursements, allowances, and overtime calculations.
  • Third-Party Logistics Monitoring: Track and evaluate the performance of third-party truckers in compliance with company standards. Coordinate with trucking partners regarding performance, route coverage, and crew assignments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Monitor the status of unremitted and pending documents from trucker crews. Maintain accurate and updated ISO and HACCP documentation and reports for the distribution department.
  • Training and Orientation: Conduct onboarding, training, and reorientation for new and existing delivery crews and truckers.
  • Support and Supervision: Assist the Distribution Supervisor in managing day-to-day operations and in renewing third-party contracts. Serve as Officer-in-Charge in the absence of the Distribution Supervisor.
  • Other Tasks: Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics, fleet management, or distribution operations.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, HACCP, and delivery logistics is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent coordination, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Willing to work in shifting schedules and render extended hours when necessary.
