Job description

Reporting to the Head of Global Risk Intelligence and Technology (GRIT), the Director, Risk Intelligence and Analytics will be responsible for enhancing reporting and analytics processes. This includes automating reports and handling ad-hoc requests for the Company’s Chief Risk Officer, Executive team, and Board Risk Committees. The role also involves supporting the development of GenAI practices and related data processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the delivery of risk management reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for model and reinsurance risks to senior leadership and committees.
  2. Oversee automation of manual reports and processes.
  3. Manage data and produce reports, memos, presentations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and rating agency standards.
  4. Identify, monitor, and address risks and issues in collaboration with relevant teams.
  5. Support development of GenAI models to enable proactive risk intelligence.
  6. Enhance processes for collecting and analyzing risk data enterprise-wide.
  7. Partner with program leads to transform reports and enable business intelligence for risk management programs.
  8. Support Archer system initiatives, including data analysis, cleanup, validation, and report/dashboard creation.
  9. Identify efficiencies within the reporting framework and processes.
  10. Assist in data testing, cleaning, and preparation for reporting.
  11. Ensure report accuracy and generate reliable metrics.
  12. Collaborate with other functions like Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, and Security to promote risk management best practices.
  13. Advise leadership and staff to improve risk assessment skills and foster a strong risk culture.
  14. Create documentation to ensure adherence to risk management tools and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in automation, analytics, or reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Leadership experience, preferably within the industry, with a strategic mindset.
  • Expertise in RPA, GenAI, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Excel, Word, Archer, and Powerbase.
  • Experience in dashboard design focusing on UI/UX.
  • Knowledge of database schemas, data modeling, visualization, and ETL processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Adaptability to changing workflows.
