Job summary

Filinvest Hospitality is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage for Quest Plus Conference Center Manila (Alabang, Muntinlupa City). The role requires a minimum of 10 years' experience, including 5+ years in leadership, with strong knowledge of products, service standards, audits, and food safety.

You will drive strategy, coach teams, manage budgets, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining optimal cost controls in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Intermediate knowledge of the offered products, including information such as product or service availability, ingredients, allergens, preparation, wait time, and the like.
• Narrates numbers-driven targets understandable to all employees and translates to their individual goals.
• Analyzes internal and external audits, reviews channels, and guest feedback to improve service quality.
• Creates action plans based on audits and cost-control results.
• Devise new strategies to improve quality of service in the department.
• Analyzes and tracks individual performance through coaching logs.
• Provides guidance on achieving reductions in costs.
• Reviews Balanced Scorecards results (P&L, guest satisfaction, market share) for product quality control.
• Establishes comprehensive food safety standards, procedures, and training materials for staff; ensures compliance with health, safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Food & Beverage department to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high service standards.
• Coordinate with Food Safety Compliance Officers to establish SOPs for every program.
• Develop and implement cost-control measures while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.
• Review audits and guest feedback to drive continuous improvements in service quality.
• Coach and monitor staff performance and provide actionable feedback.
• Oversee training development and materials for service staff to ensure consistent execution.
