Eastvantage is seeking a Director - Learning and Development to own and scale an internal L&D function across multiple geographies. You will design the learning strategy, create content, deploy programs, and measure impact, leveraging AI tools to operate efficiently as a one-person team.
Reporting to the CEO, you will collaborate with department heads and delivery leads, localize content for Philippines, India, Bulgaria, and Morocco, and oversee the EV Academy LMS while driving rapid upskilling
The Director - Learning and Development is a high-ownership, execution-heavy role responsible for building, launching, and sustaining Eastvantage's internal L&D function as a one-person operation. You will design the learning strategy, produce the content, deploy the programs, and track the impact — all while leveraging AI tools to work at scale without a large team behind you. You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and work cross-functionally with department heads, operations managers, and delivery leads across all Eastvantage locations.
Define and own the annual L&D roadmap aligned to Eastvantage's business objectives, growth targets, and workforce development priorities
Conduct organization-wide skills gap analysis by collaborating with department heads and operations leaders across all geographies
Design, develop, and produce training content end-to-end: e-learning modules, instructor-led training decks, microlearning assets, assessments, job aids, and onboarding materials
Use AI tools (LLMs, generative design tools, video/voice synthesis, etc.) as core production infrastructure to generate 80%+ of first-draft content through AI workflows
Build reusable content templates and AI prompt libraries that allow rapid scaling of training content across new topics, roles, and geographies
Localize and adapt content for multi-geography, multi-language delivery across Philippines, India, Bulgaria, and Morocco
Launch and facilitate training programs across all Eastvantage locations, using a mix of synchronous (live virtual/in-person) and asynchronous (LMS/self-paced) formats
Own the onboarding learning experience for new hires, ensuring they reach role-readiness faster
Manage the EV Academy platform and any other LMS tools — including content uploads, learner tracking, certification paths, and reporting
Define L&D success metrics and build dashboards to track program completion, learner satisfaction, knowledge retention, and on-the-job behavior change
8+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Development — with at least 3 years in a BPO, outsourcing, or managed services environment
Proven track record of building L&D programs from the ground up or significantly restructuring underperforming L&D functions
Hands-on experience with instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent) and adult learning principles
Demonstrated ability to work as a solo operator — you have built, launched, and run programs without relying on a large support team
Experience managing or administering a Learning Management System (LMS)
Strong project management discipline — ability to run multiple programs simultaneously across time zones
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Active, demonstrated use of large language models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent) for content drafting, curriculum design, assessment creation, and knowledge synthesis
Experience with AI-powered design tools (Canva AI, Gamma, Beautiful.ai, Midjourney, or similar) for creating visually engaging training materials
Familiarity with AI video/audio tools (Synthesia, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Descript, or similar) for producing training videos, voiceovers, or multimedia content at scale
Eastvantage has reached an inflection point. With rapid growth across five countries, 13 supported languages, and an increasingly diverse service portfolio, our Learning & Development function needs a dedicated owner who can close the gap between our ambition and our execution.
