Clarke Point Pte Ltd offers an opportunity for a Digital Project Manager to lead the delivery of innovative digital initiatives for Road Central, ensuring alignment with Australian business hours. The role requires a strong background in project management within an Agile environment, effective stakeholder communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing project risks and timelines.

Powered by a modern Python/Django platform on AWS, the company streamlines freight movements, boosts operational efficiency, and brings real-time transparency to carriers, shippers, and drivers. Reporting to the Australian-based Head of Product, the Digital Project Manager will drive end-to-end delivery of Road Central’s digital initiatives—ranging from customer-facing web portals to internal workflow tools. Operating remotely from the Philippines and aligned to Australian Eastern time, you will manage cross-functional sprints, own project schedules and budgets, and ensure every release meets scope, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
This role is being recruited by Clarke Point, a premier Singapore-based agency dedicated to delivering global recruitment and staffing solutions, (www.clarkepoint.com) and is for a long-term, full-time Independent Contractor.
Project Planning & Delivery – Define project charters, user stories, schedules and budgets; run daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies.
Roadmap & Backlog Management – Maintain a transparent digital roadmap, prioritising features against business value and capacity.
Stakeholder Communication – Act as a single point of contact for status, risks and issue resolution across product, engineering, ops and external partners.
Quality Assurance – Coordinate functional, regression and UAT cycles; raise and track defects; sign-off releases.
Risk & Dependency Management – Identify blockers early, propose mitigations, and escalate where necessary.
Process Improvement – Champion Agile best practice and continuously refine delivery workflows and documentation.
Experience working as an Independent Contractor for an Australian, American or similar client
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager, Product Owner or similar delivering web / SaaS products.
Demonstrated success managing sprint backlogs, timelines and budgets in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Hands-on experience collaborating with developers using modern web stacks (preferably Python/Django) and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
Excellent written and verbal English; able to translate technical detail for non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills; comfortable with remote, distributed teams.
Exposure to logistics, transport or supply-chain domains.
Relevant certifications (CSM, CSPO, PMP or PRINCE2).
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of usability, accessibility and SEO best practice.
Experience coordinating remote teams across multiple time zones.

This role is for a long-term, full-time Independent Contractor with the following additional perks:
Philippine Regular Holidays: 100% pay if not worked; 200% pay if worked.
Philippine Special Non-Working Holidays: Additional 30% pay if worked.
Vacation Leave: 12 days per year, granted upon successful completion of the probation period.
Sick Leave: 6 days per year, available annually.
Health Insurance Allowance: ₱2,500 per month provided toward family health insurance after the probation period.
Flexible Work Environment: Fully remote, Monday to Friday, aligned with Australian business hours.
Road Central is based in Melbourne, Australia, thus the work hours will follow Melbourne time (GMT +10) with some flexibility.
