Job summary

SID Global Solutions is seeking a Technical Lead for its Digital Banking Applications in Metro Manila. You will own the technical vision, drive architecture, ensure security and scalability, and guide end-to-end delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise software, 5+ years in leadership, and deep expertise in Java, Spring, Angular, Kotlin, and cloud deployments. Expect collaboration with product and vendor teams to deliver world-class digital banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in enterprise software development and implementation, incl. 5+ years in technical leadership.
• Proven experience leading technical teams in financial services or digital banking.
• Hands-on experience with digital transformation in large institutions.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring, Angular, Kotlin, Swift, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure).
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of Microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of IT security principles for banking apps.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary SME for the digital banking platform and components.
• Define and drive technical roadmap and architecture.
• Guide design/implementation of features, integrations, and updates with non-functional requirements.
• Lead architectural reviews and root-cause analysis of critical issues.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of digital banking projects on time and budget.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Analysts to translate business needs into technical outcomes.
• Promote modern engineering practices: CI/CD, test automation, robust DevOps.
• Act as liaison with internal and external partners on technical matters.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Contracts and Vendor Manager to align vendor outputs with tech needs.
