Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis nurse to ensure exceptional patient care and documentation within a clinical setting in the Philippines. The role involves implementing treatment prescriptions, monitoring patient responses, and coordinating with the care team.

You will perform nursing assessments, manage dialysis procedures, and support CQI initiatives, while maintaining safe and sanitary facilities and accurate lab-related processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures outstanding customer service to patients and staff.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships through effective communication.
• Addresses patient-related issues promptly.
• Assesses daily patient care needs and assigns appropriate care.
• Assists Unit Head/Team Leader to address patient needs and foster belonging.
• Records data in NephroWeb to keep clinical information updated.
• Implements treatment prescriptions and monitors patient responses.
• Assesses patient responses and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Initiates and maintains nursing assessments and ongoing evaluation of patient care needs.
• Participates in pre-evaluation, initiation, termination, access homeostasis, and post evaluation for dialysis treatments.
• Intervenes for changes in patient adequacy and troubleshooting access flow.
• Administers prescribed transfusions and notifies adverse reactions.
• Collaborates on CQI presentations and reports lab orders.
• Ensures proper collection and handling of lab specimens and timely lab result delivery.
• Ensures equipment is functioning and maintains inventory as needed.
• Ensures vaccinations and TB testing compliance.
• Maintains adherence to safety, sanitation, and patient care standards.
• Engages in discussions with Unit Head on personnel and patient care status.
