Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Call patients with courtesy and introduce self.
• Facilitate patient and family education and ensure checklist is completed and signed.
• Answer queries regarding procedures and department policies.
• Maintain good customer relations.
• Promote harmonious relationships among co-employees.
• Coordinate with chief radiologic technologist regarding operation of the section.
• Validate requests to confirm examinations meet the doctor’s order.
• Check patient identifiers before performing procedures.
• Verify patient data in work lists.
• Perform complex diagnostic x-ray procedures.
