Job summary

Rizal Provincial Hospital - Binangonan seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging per physician orders, position patients, and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.

You will verify patient identity, explain procedures, maintain records, and collaborate with radiologists and nurses while adhering to radiation safety protocols. A degree in Radiologic Technology and appropriate certification are required or encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologists (RRT) or equivalent.
• Newly acquired licenses are encouraged to apply.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation physics, and imaging techniques.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and image quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Physical ability to assist and position patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations according to physician orders.
• Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow radiation protection and safety protocols for patients, staff, and self.
• Verify patient identity and explain imaging procedures.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to their needs.
• Evaluate images for quality and repeat studies when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure imaging equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
