Job summary

Sureste Properties Inc. seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines, enforce security gates, and maintain security-as-code controls across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will harden Docker/Kubernetes platforms and manage secrets, enabling secure, automated deployments.

You will collaborate with development teams to embed secure coding practices, triage vulnerabilities, and drive remediation with SLA adherence in a high‑availability setting in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3+ years in a DevSecOps, DevOps, or security engineering role, ideally supporting high-availability platforms.
• Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency with CI/CD tools and security tooling, containers, IaC, cloud, secrets management, and scripting.
• Certifications (good to have): CKS, AWS Security, GCSA, CISSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate automated security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and maintain security-as-code controls, including IaC scanning.
• Harden Docker and Kubernetes with least-privilege access and image signing.
• Manage secrets and credentials centrally, avoiding hard-coded values.
• Monitor and triage vulnerabilities across code, dependencies, images, and infra.
