Job summary

LegalMatch Philippines, Inc. seeks a DevOps Team Manager to lead strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of DevOps toward secure, scalable, and reliable systems.

This hybrid leadership role combines technical direction, people management, and Agile delivery oversight across cloud, CI/CD, automation, and incident response. The candidate will own backlog, roadmap, and cross-functional delivery, mentor engineers, and drive operational excellence while embedding security throughout DevOps

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related technical disciplines.
• At least 2 years in a technical leadership role (Team Lead / Engineering Manager).
• Experience implementing Agile practices within engineering teams and cross-functional delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Strong Linux, networking, and automation scripting knowledge.
• Experience driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the DevOps strategy aligned with goals.
• Provide technical leadership across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and deployment.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and performance.
• Embed security practices into DevOps workflows and decisions.
• Drive infrastructure automation and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and implement AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency.
• Own and prioritize the DevOps backlog and roadmap.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and remove delivery blockers.
• Communicate progress, risks, and priorities to stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing DevOps team.
• Monitor production systems and partner with development teams to improve release quality and platform maturity.
