Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking a reliable CI/CD engineer to support cloud-based deployments in a microservices environment. The role focuses on building, automating, and maintaining scalable deployment pipelines with on-prem components.

You will implement Infrastructure as Code, configure monitoring, and integrate security into the deployment process while collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure fast and reliable releases.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and automation
• Ability to design resilient deployment flows and IaC practices
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipeline of Cloud-based or virtual cloud applications in a microservices architecture.

• Design flow to make the application deployment resilient to failures.

• Conduct, research, integrate and automate the deployment of multiple tools and services.

• Automate and orchestrate workloads across multiple public cloud providers.

• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinates with the development team to streamline code deployment.

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for infrastructure automation and management.

• Configure monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.

• Integrate security measures into the CI/CD pipeline and overall deployment processes.

• Optimize the performance of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for efficiency and speed.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure alignment of CI/CD processes with application requirements and operational needs.
