Job summary

Satellite Office is seeking a DevOps Engineer to deliver automation, containerised environments, and robust CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced Telco-focused setup. You will mentor teammates and solve performance and architecture challenges while enabling scalable, secure software delivery.

The role requires hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, GitLab, and a passion for continuous improvement in a large organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong CI/CD experience, preferably with GitLab.
• Experience deploying Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience developing engineering applications for a large organization.
• Knowledge of PHP/Laravel and Golang is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with Python, Java, or JavaScript is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage development, testing, automation tools and infrastructure.
• Oversee containerised environments and deployment processes.
• Identify, manage and maintain software engineering tools and infra.
• Design automations to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery.
• Mentor team members and guide best practices.
• Tackle performance and architectural challenges.
• Scale applications and monitor performance metrics.
