Job summary

Satellite Office in the Philippines is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative team. You will implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, containerised environments, and automation to accelerate delivery while ensuring reliability.

You will collaborate with software engineers to deploy scalable solutions, improve performance, and uphold security best practices in a large corporate tech environment. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and GitLab is highly valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant industry experience.
Deep understanding of CI/CD; ideally using GitLab.
Familiarity with static/dynamic application security testing.
Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation.
Experience deploying Docker/Kubernetes environments.
Awareness of system security best practices.
Experience creating distributed systems and monoliths.
PHP/Laravel experience highly regarded.
Golang experience highly regarded.
Knowledge of Python, Java, and/or JavaScript is a bonus.
Understanding of telco industry and networking technologies.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage development, testing, automation tools, and infrastructure for internal and external stakeholders.
Implement and manage containerised environments.
Oversee code release and deployment processes.
Identify, manage, and maintain software engineering tools and infrastructure.
Design and develop automations to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
Manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
Address performance and architectural challenges.
Scale applications and monitor performance metrics.
Mentor and guide other team members.
