Job summary

DBTek is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and optimize reliable systems, automate workflows, and improve how teams deliver software. You’ll work with developers, architects, and project leads to streamline deployment pipelines, enhance monitoring, and ensure scalable operations.

The role emphasizes cloud knowledge, IaC, containerization, and CI/CD expertise, with remote-first collaboration and growth opportunities across client projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Clear written and spoken English.

About the role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who loves building reliable systems, automating workflows, and improving how teams deliver software.

You’ll work closely with developers, architects, and project leads to streamline deployment pipelines, enhance monitoring, and ensure smooth, scalable operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system reliability and security
• Collaborate with development teams to improve build, deployment, and infrastructure workflows

Must Have

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems such as Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting and/or high RPS systems and platforms
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience in SRE or Live Site Engineering
• Experience with service mesh tools (e.g., Linkerd, Istio, Flagger)
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and ability to work semi-independently while sharing progress.
