Job summary

Aeven is seeking a motivated Developer Intern to support ASP.NET C# MVC applications and related services in Metro Manila. You will work on real projects, learn best practices, and gain exposure to deployment, testing, and documentation with guidance from experienced developers.

You will contribute to code reviews, write unit tests, and collaborate with QA and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Internship includes an allowance and completion certificate.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC or .NET frameworks and SQL fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Work on backlog items including bug fixes and small feature enhancements.
• Submit code changes through pull requests for review.
• Write and modify SQL queries and assist with simple stored procedures.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Developer Intern to support the ongoing development and maintenance of our ASP.NET C# MVC applications and related services. This role provides hands-on experience working in a professional software development environment, where all code changes are reviewed through the pull request process and guided by experienced developers.

You will contribute to real projects, enhance your coding skills, learn software development best practices, and gain exposure to application support, testing, documentation, and deployment activities.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned backlog items, including:
• Bug fixes
• Small feature enhancements
• Code refactoring tasks
• Develop and submit code changes through pull requests for review.
• Write and modify SQL queries and assist with simple stored procedure updates under supervision.
• Support the maintenance of Windows Services, scheduled jobs, and background processing applications.
• Review application logs, investigate issues, and assist in troubleshooting production and non-production incidents.
• Write unit tests for all code developed to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Reproduce, analyze, and document reported defects with clear replication steps and environment details.
• Assist in validating deployments in testing and staging environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, including:
• Setup guides
• Configuration instructions
• Runbooks
• Troubleshooting procedures
• Participate in code reviews by reading pull requests and providing constructive feedback or questions.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications
