Job summary

Monte Cielo Marketing Corp. is seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. You will maintain financial records, process invoices, manage accounts payable, and assist with month-end closings to support the finance team.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting, has experience in accounting support, and is proficient in Excel and accounting software. Knowledge of Philippine standards is a plus and confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field is required.
• Experience as Accounting Clerk or similar accounting support role is preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong mathematical skills and numerical accuracy are essential.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; reliable and discreet with financial information.
• Experience with purchasing transactions and knowledge of Philippine accounting standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in accounting systems with precision.
• Process and verify invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure entries are accurate and well-documented.
• Prepare financial reports and statements for senior accounting staff.
