Job summary

GTH TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION in Laguna invites an experienced mechanical design engineer to join our team. You will design machines and automation equipment, create 3D models, assemblies and detailed drawings, and develop concepts based on customer requirements.

You will collaborate with customers, suppliers, fabrication teams, and field engineers to deliver designs on schedule, applying GD&T, BOMs, and manufacturing know-how.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in machine design, automation, semiconductor equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, assembly, and 2D detailed drawings.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical design principles, tolerances, fits, GD&T, and material selection.
• Familiar with machining, sheet metal, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Able to prepare BOM, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.
• Capable of developing machine concepts based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Able to perform design modifications and improvements on existing machines and equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatic components, sensors, actuators, motors, and other machine components is an advantage.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment is an advantage.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to coordinate with customers, suppliers, fabrication teams, and field/service engineers.
• Can work independently and manage multiple design projects within required timelines.
