Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in the Philippines seeks a Design Engineer I to design thermal solutions for gas and liquid delivery systems using CAD tools. You will work with internal teams to meet customer specs and support NPIs, manufacturing, and testing processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, documentation, and continuous improvement, with opportunities for travel to the US for training. A Bachelor's in engineering and up to 3 years design experience are typical.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
0-3 years design experience in semiconductor capital equipment or related field.

Responsibilities

Designs thermal solutions both heating and temperature sensing applications for gas and/or liquid delivery systems using CAD software.
Collaborate with internal UCT account managers and operations to meet customer specifications.
Coordinate with Thermal manufacturing to assist in fabrication, testing, and installation activities to ensure conformance to design and specs.
Participate in design reviews and cross-functional project meetings and support cost reduction, quality improvement initiatives.
