Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Building Services - Design team in Manila. You will lead electrical system design for building services, using 3D modelling and electrical software to develop layouts and schematics.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of relevant experience, and is open to REE certification as a plus. You will coordinate with local and international teams and support QA processes throughout the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in a similar capacity.
• REE certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit (Electrical), Section J6, PowerCad-5, AGI and Dialux.
• Experience with Lightning, Power, Security and Data Lay-outs Schematic Design and single lines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Electrical design of building services and associated systems of work.
• Manage and maintain the record of all incoming and outgoing drawings from the office in accordance with WSP QA procedures.
• Liaison with WSP personnel and WSP’s partners both local and foreign affiliates and clients.
• Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines of the design team.
• Manage and control outputs in accordance with the design work program.
• Attend meeting when required.
• Carry out any assignments that will be given from time to time by the management.
• At all times exhibit behaviour, consistent with that of a professional member of WSP.
• Assist with the training and development of subordinates.
• Assist in multidisciplinary project activities.
• Use of electrical software and 3D modelling to develop electrical system designs.
• Other duties as required by management from time to time.
