Department: Royu - Switchgear Business Unit

Reporting to: Design Supervisor

Work Schedule: 5-day work week

As a Design Engineer, you will execute product designs that meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-quality products that meet customer requirements and quality standards by producing CNC machine programs and generating engineering drawings and designs using 2D/3D CAD/CAM software.
• Ensures timely delivery of work products and projects by effectively organizing and prioritizing tasks and providing timely updates on drawing status monitoring.
• Facilitates the delivery of customer requirements by collaborating with other departments, such as costing, production, and Quality Control, in addressing issues to integrate design requirements and ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting Technology, or any related course.
• At least 3 years of combined experience as Design Engineer in a similar industry. Fresh graduates and applicants with less than 2 years working experience will be considered for the Associate Design Engineer position.
• Can read and interpret electrical plans.
• Know how to draw using 3D CAD software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
