We’re looking for a talented and passionate Derivatives Operations Analyst (Developer) to join our Information Systems team at MBPS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development with expertise in Java, .NET, SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica, IIS, and Azure Cloud technologies. They should have a passion for problem-solving and a drive to innovate.

Position Responsibilities:

  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions
    - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java, .NET, SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica and other relevant technologies
    - Deploy and manage applications on IIS and Azure Cloud platform
    - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
    - Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
    - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development
  • Amenable to work at UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)
  • Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)
  • Amenable to work in any shift schedule assigned (night shift; but flexible depending on business need)

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java, .NET, SQL, PL/SQL, IIS, and Azure Cloud technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Previous experience working in Finance domain, if applicable
  • Work well independently as well as in team environment as situation dictates
  • Previous experience in I ncident/Change Management

  • Excellent knowledge of the derivatives and variable annuity business operations and issues, along with a strong understanding of the Company’s various businesses
