Job summary

Dental First, Inc. is seeking an Associate Dentist to provide clinical dental services and preventive care in a private practice setting. The role includes supervising dental assistants and hygienists and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.

The candidate should have graduated from an accredited dental college and hold PRC licensure, with English fluency and a background in public health preferred. Expect responsibilities across patient care, documentation, and program coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited dental college/university.
• Completion of an accredited general practice residency program preferred.
• Ability to be clinically fluent in English.
• Knowledge of public health principles preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to maintain clinical privileges; hospital privileges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines individuals requesting care, diagnoses dental conditions, prescribes or directs treatment per approved protocols.
• Records patient-dentist transactions in the dental record and completes referrals and required paperwork.
• Educates individuals on oral health conditions and disease prevention.
• Serves on dental staff and committees as needed.
• Prepares regular clinical reports for the Managing Dentist.
• Assists in continuing education, on-the-job training, and orientation of new clinical personnel.
• Designs and recommends clinical policies and procedures in line with standards.
• Provides outreach education to the community and integrates dental programs with other corporate services.
