Job summary

Qualifications

Graduate of Dental Technology, Dental Laboratory Technology, or a related course.
At least 1 year of experience in a dental laboratory or related field.
Knowledgeable in dental laboratory procedures and fabrication of dental appliances/prostheses.
Familiar with CAD/CAM technology and dental design software is an advantage.
Good attention to detail, accuracy, and manual dexterity.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Framework Preparation & Ceramic Processing: Receive and inspect zirconia, e.max, and other restoration frameworks; perform sintering; trim, adjust, and prepare frameworks for ceramic application and finishing; apply ceramic layering to achieve morphology, strength and function.
Esthetics & Restoration Finishing: Match shades; reproduce natural tooth anatomy; ensure restorations meet laboratory standards; perform minor adjustments to improve quality.
Quality Verification & Case Accuracy: Review prescriptions; self-inspect restorations for margins, contacts, and occlusion; identify defects and corrections; assist in evaluating remake cases.
Equipment, Materials & Laboratory Maintenance: Operate and maintain furnaces and polishing equipment; clean and maintain equipment; proper handling of materials; report malfunctions.
Documentation, Safety & Compliance: Maintain records; ensure labeling and traceability; comply with safety and infection control; coordinate with team; train junior staff.
