Job summary

Health Business Solutions LLC is seeking a Denial Management Team Lead to provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and operational oversight for a team handling denied, rejected, and underpaid healthcare claims.

This role drives team performance against quality, productivity, aging, revenue recovery, and service-level targets; manages workload and escalations; and guides the preparation of accurate appeals, reconsiderations, and claim corrections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare denial management.
• At least 1 year in a leadership or team lead role.
• Experience with denial trends, performance metrics, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Denials Specialists to meet targets.
• Review and resolve denied, rejected, and underpaid claims.
• Prepare and submit accurate appeals and corrections.
• Serve as escalation point for complex denials and payer disputes.
• Analyze denial trends and coordinate with internal teams.
• Monitor performance, backlogs, and provide training and feedback.
