Job description

We are looking for a Demand Planner who will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels of SKUs to meet customer demand. This role plays a critical part in inventory planning, purchasing, and stock availability while maintaining service level targets and reducing aging inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handles the ordering parameters and maintains an updated master file based on the per category.
• Maintains and delivers per the agreed timeline per vendor.
• Maintains the store service level of top SKUs for at least 97%.
• Proper forecasting of the SKUs according to season.
• Coordinates and aligns with the Category Managers/Buyers for the promotions and activations.
• Monitors aging and zero offtake from stores.
• Closely coordinates the move out plan of the aging inventories.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, material planning, buying, or purchasing.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Forecasting: Develop weekly, monthly, and annual demand forecasts using statistical models and historical data.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather insights and refine forecasts.

• Performance Monitoring: Track forecast accuracy and adjust models to improve reliability.
