Job summary

King Pata Food Store in the Philippines is seeking a reliable Delivery Rider for the Talisay Branch. You will safely transport customer orders, verify items against receipts, and ensure accurate delivery within scheduled times while maintaining product integrity.

The role requires daily vehicle checks, prompt communication with the sales and warehouse teams, compliance with safety rules, and flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid professional driver’s license (Restrictions 1, 2, 3 or equivalent).
• 1–2 years delivery driving experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations.
• Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading goods when necessary.
• Responsible, punctual, and customer service oriented.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customer orders to designated areas following assigned delivery schedules.
• Ensures accuracy of items loaded and delivered based on delivery receipts, invoices, or dispatch sheets.
• Handles products with care to prevent damage or spoilage during transit.
• Obtains customer signatures and ensure proper documentation of completed deliveries.
• Conducts daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and reports issues.
• Ensures the vehicle is clean, properly fueled, and maintained according to company standards.
• Follows all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies.
• Communicates effectively with sales coordinators and customers regarding delivery times and delays.
• Coordinates with logistics for route planning and delivery efficiency.
• Notifies appropriate personnel of any delivery concerns such as incomplete orders or damaged goods.
• Observes proper safety and food handling procedures at all times.
• Assists in loading and unloading of goods as needed.
• Performs other related tasks to support operations efficiency.

DELIVERY RIDER

We are looking for a responsible and reliable Delivery Driver to ensure the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of orders to various customer locations. The role also involves basic vehicle maintenance checks, proper documentation, and coordination with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure excellent customer service and product integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Operations

1. Safely transports customer orders to designated areas following assigned delivery schedules.
2. Ensures accuracy of items loaded and delivered based on delivery receipts, invoices, or dispatch sheets.
3. Handles products with care to prevent damage or spoilage during transit.
4. Obtains customer signatures and ensure proper documentation of completed deliveries.

Vehicle Maintenance

1. Conducts daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness (brakes, lights, tires, fluids, etc.).
2. Reports any mechanical issues immediately to the supervisor or maintenance team.
3. Ensures the vehicle is clean, properly fueled, and maintained according to company standards.
4. Follows all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies.

Coordination & Communication

1. Communicates effectively with sales coordinators, and customers regarding delivery times and potential delays.
2. Coordinates with the logistics team for route planning and delivery efficiency.
3. Notifies appropriate personnel of any delivery concerns such as incomplete orders, damaged goods, or customer feedback

Other Duties:

1. Observes proper safety and food handling procedures at all times.
2. Assists in loading and unloading of goods as needed.
3. Performs other related tasks that the supervisor may assign to support overall operations efficiency.
