Job summary

HCM Nexus Consulting Inc in the Philippines seeks an Assistant Manager for Deal Advisory & Transaction Services to support financial due diligence, valuations, and deal execution. The role requires 4–6 years in financial due diligence or M&A advisory, with a CPA or CFA preferred, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

You will work with engagement managers on project delivery and client reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CFA preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in financial due diligence, audit, corporate finance, or M&A advisory.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience presenting to executive-level clients is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of transaction advisory engagements including buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, business valuations, and deal support.
• Perform detailed analysis of financial statements, quality of earnings, working capital, and debt-like items.
• Assist in drafting client reports and presenting key findings and recommendations.
• Work closely with engagement managers and senior team members on project execution and timelines.
• Collaborate with other teams (e.g., tax, audit, advisory) to ensure cohesive and high-impact client service.
• Conduct market and industry research to support financial modeling and valuation work.
• Assist in project management tasks including information requests, document control, and coordination with clients and third parties.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives.
