Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Risk and Compliance Specialist in the Philippines for a return-to-office setup. The role requires deep KYC expertise and supervisory experience to assess client matters and identify conflicts at the outset.

You will conduct thorough conflict checks, liaise with partners, and escalate issues with clear analysis to ensure regulatory and firm compliance. This position emphasizes confidentiality and cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of KYC experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing new client and matter forms ensuring details are provided and flag incomplete or unclear items.
• Analyzing the new client and/or new matter to determine risks.
• Conducting conflict checks using the firm's conflict database with attention to sensitive entries.
• Analyzing conflict search results and liaising with Partner/Case Handler to assess potential conflicts.
• Escalating conflict issues to the Conflicts and Compliance Team with clear analysis.
• Following up with stakeholders to obtain information or resolve conflicts.
• Maintaining and updating conflict search database as matters evolve.
• Assisting in research and implementation of information barriers with the Risk Team.

POSITION TITLE: Risk and Compliance Specialist

WORK SETUP: Return to Office

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviewing new client and matter forms ensuring satisfactory details are provided by the Case Handlers and querying instances where information is either incomplete or unclear, Due to the high volume, a quick turnaround time is essential to identify any potential conflicts at the outset and to adhere to current SLA requirements
• Analyzing the new client and/or new matter to determine the risks associated with the instruction
• Conducting conflict checks using the firm's conflict database paying close attention to sensitive entries in the firm's Black Book database
• Analyzing conflict search results and liaising with Partner/ Case Handler on the matters that may present a legal or commercial conflict. Obtaining relevant information on the matter, if required, to make a judgement call on whether a conflict or potential conflict is present
• Escalating conflict issues to the Conflicts and Compliance Team, as appropriate with clear analysis of the conflict and the conclusions reached so far
• Proactively following up when seeking information or conflict resolution from other stake holders around the firm
• Maintaining and updating conflict search database as key information becomes apparent on existing matters
• Assisting in the research and implementation of information barriers by working with the Risk Team as matters are created, always safeguarding confidentiality for the involved teams.
