Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Procurement Practice Specialist in Mandaluyong, Philippines, for a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead complex sourcing projects, develop strong stakeholder relationships, and influence client satisfaction through outstanding delivery.

Responsibilities include guiding strategic sourcing across multiple corporate functions, leveraging advanced Excel and PowerPoint, negotiating supplier agreements, and coaching sourcing teams to expand category knowledge while ensuring

Qualifications

• With at least 3 years combined relevant work experience in Procurement and Global Sourcing and any of the following: Contracting, Sourcing or Category Management

Responsibilities

• Lead formal strategic sourcing efforts related to Corporate & Professional Services, IT, Marketing, HR, Facilities, MRO, etc.
• Solid understanding of and experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Excellent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end project lifecycles
• Strong project management and relationship-building skills
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
• Collaborative in nature to ensure both internal and external stakeholders are managed and engaged
• Successful track record with clients
• Adaptable management style to conform to varied corporate cultures and structures
• Knowledge of procurement operations
• Experience working directly with key stakeholders in business units
• Understand client’s business needs to develop optimal sourcing solution
• Lead and facilitate the selection criteria for supplier selection and evaluations
• Design and develop relevant RFP documents for projects or make recommendations for incumbent negotiations
• Negotiate agreements with supplier and incorporate best practice metrics
• May be responsible for contracting negotiated agreement
• Develops and expands category knowledge in support of sourcing projects
• Develop and deploy Sourcing offering deliverables
• Coach and manage Sourcing Team Members and begin to develop people
• Ensure services are provided within budgets and timelines; address issues
• Provide input to Accenture best practices
• Monitor and provide guidance on procurement process for categories under management
• Capture and report key findings from procurement activities for efficiencies
• Support development of subcategory market insights materials or benchmarks
• Work with Client Delivery to ensure services are delivered per SLAs

• Solid understanding of and experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Excellent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end project lifecycles
• Strong project management and relationship-building skills
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
• Collaborative in nature to ensure both internal and external stakeholders are being managed and engaged when appropriate
• Successful track record with clients
• Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers

• Understand client’s business needs to develop optimal sourcing solution
• Lead and facilitate (with the client’s cross-functional team) the selection criteria for supplier selection and evaluations
• Design and develop relevant RFP documents for projects or make recommendations for incumbent negotiations
• Negotiate agreement with supplier and incorporate best practice metrics for agreements to aid the Category Management process in supplier relationship management activities;
• May be responsible for contracting negotiated agreement
• Develops and expands category knowledge in support of sourcing projects
• Develop and deploy Sourcing offering deliverables (i.e. process templates)
• Indirectly (and in certain cases directly) coach and manage Sourcing Team Members and begin to develop people (onshore and offshore) in our business
• Ensure that services are provided within assigned budgets and timelines; takes actions necessary to address any issues
• Provide input to Accenture best practices
• Monitor and provide guidance on procurement process for categories under management
• Capture and report key findings from procurement activities that can be used to gain efficiencies and or knowledge for similar engagements
• Support development of subcategory market insights materials or benchmarks
• Work with Client Delivery to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with contractual/service level obligations
