Job summary

Asia Cargo Container Line, Inc. is seeking a timely operations supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities at the Biñan DC. You will monitor inbound and outbound shipments, review attendance against volume, and ensure equipment readiness and consumables are sufficient.

The role requires ensuring WMS/MMS function, analyzing yesterday's performance, and coordinating with IT and the DC director on issues. Expect routine security observation and staff training duties.

Responsibilities

• Check inbound shipment for the day (imported and local)
• Check load plan for the day (outbound)
• Review manpower attendance for the day if sufficient based on expected volume
• Review issues of the previous day if solved
• Review equipment count if sufficient based on expected volume for the day (forklifts, trucks, containers, pallet jacks, RF guns, tablets)
• Make sure DC has enough pallets, stretch film and other consumables
• Check if WMS and MMS are working correctly, otherwise raise to IT immediately
• Review service level of previous day, check unserved picklists and plan how to recover
• Do perimeter and DC floor walk 2x daily (morning and afternoon); ensure cleanliness, orderliness, health & safety compliance
• Spend 30 mins in internal security room to observe the entire DC
• Make sure all new deployed employees have watched the Audio-Visual processes and are trained on actual tasks
• Check if reports of the previous day are completed
• Report issues and concerns to DC director
• Perform other task/s that may be assigned from time to time by the top management.
