Job summary

ICCT Colleges Foundation Inc. is seeking a Database Administrator at the Cainta Campus to install, configure, and maintain databases, ensuring reliability and security, while supporting academic and administrative operations.

The role requires 2+ years experience, a CS/CE degree, and strong SQL skills (MySQL/SQL Server). You will monitor performance, manage access, backups, data integrity, and collaborate with IT staff to provide end-to-end support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or CE.
• 2+ years professional experience or internship.
• Advanced knowledge of database structure and theory.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, SQL Server, or similar).
• Experience in website administration (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem solving technical issues.
• Knowledge of data security, backup, and recovery practices.
• Detail oriented, organized, trustworthy and a fast learner.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and assistance.
• Amenable to work in Cainta, Rizal.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain databases to ensure reliability and security
• Monitor database performance, back up data, and implement recovery procedures
• Manage user access, permissions, and data integrity
• Maintain and update the website to ensure accurate and timely information
• Troubleshoot and resolve database and web related issues
• Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution
• Schedule and perform regular server maintenance
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards
• Coordinate with IT staff and management to support academic and administrative needs
• Prepare reports and documentation related to database and web systems
