Job summary

Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking a data testing professional to execute analytics testing and validate ETL/ELT pipelines across cloud platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design detailed test scenarios, and maintain SIT/UAT plans to ensure data integrity and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Data Warehouse, Data Lake, ETL/ELT, and Analytics Testing.
• Experience validating complex source-to-target data transformations, aggregations, and business rules.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex validation and data reconciliation queries.
• Experience testing ETL/ELT pipelines using modern cloud data platforms.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience testing Databricks.
• Experience performing performance, scalability, and large-volume data testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.
• Experience with test planning, test case preparation, execution, defect management, and test reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to innovate and implement process improvements.
• Experience working on data-related projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute data and analytics testing in accordance with established SDLC and testing processes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Platform Owners, Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Business SMEs, and Product Owners to define test coverage and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in test design, preparation, walkthroughs, and testing kick-off meetings.
• Develop detailed test scenarios covering different integration points between systems, modules, and data components.
• Prepare and maintain overall project test approaches and SIT Test Plans.
• Prepare User Acceptance Test (UAT) Plans based on project requirements.
• Validate complex source-to-target data transformations, aggregations, mappings, and business rules.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation using advanced SQL queries.
• Test ETL/ELT pipelines across modern cloud data platforms.
• Execute large-volume data testing and validate pipeline performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Perform testing on Databricks environments and data solutions.
• Document test cases, test results, defects, testing metrics, and test reports.
• Manage and document changes, versions, releases, and defect management activities.
• Provide accurate estimates, progress updates, and status reports for testing activities and automation scripts.
• Work with the Test Automation Toolkit and support proper implementation of applicable test automation processes.
• Identify issues, perform analysis, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve data and testing-related defects.
• Contribute ideas and improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
