Job summary

Kavi Philippines is seeking a data scientist to join our AI & Data Science team in the Philippines. You will analyze data, build models, and contribute to LLM-powered workflows using RAG pipelines. The role emphasizes hands-on data processing, NLP, and agentic AI concepts in real-world applications.

You will collaborate with senior team members to implement retrieval-based knowledge systems, vector stores, and dashboards while growing your skills in a fast-paced healthcare BPO environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, CS, Statistics, Engineering or related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
• Strong Python programming with pandas, numpy, scikit-learn
• Fundamental NLP and LLM knowledge
• Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector stores
• Experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Familiar with OpenAI API and Hugging Face Transformers
• Knowledge of agentic AI systems and task automation

Responsibilities

• Clean, transform, and analyze data from diverse sources
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify actionable insights
• Support development and evaluation of traditional and deep learning models
• Assist in integrating LLMs into workflows using RAG pipelines
• Collaborate with senior team members to build and refine agentic AI systems
• Contribute to design and testing of knowledge retrieval systems with vector stores
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and documentation to communicate insights
