The Data Scientist position is expected to have an understanding of related business processes & information needs. This role will also require understanding of the end-to-end business process and will use improvement techniques, automation and change management techniques in order to navigate through their daily activities and propose optimizations.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

• TheDataScientistmusthavestrongexperienceusingvariousdatamining/dataanalysismethods,usingdifferentdatatools,buildingandimplementingmodels,using/creatingalgorithmsandcreating/runningsimulations.Theymustbeabletodrivebusinessresultswiththeirdata-basedinsights.Theymustbecomfortableworkingwithawiderangeofstakeholdersandfunctionalteams.Therightcandidatewillhaveapassionfordiscoveringsolutionshiddeninlargedatasetsandworkingwithstakeholderstoimprovebusinessoutcomes.
• Workwithstakeholdersthroughouttheorganizationtoidentifyopportunitiesforleveragingcompanydatatodrivebusinesssolutions.
• Mineandanalyzedatafromcompanydatabasestodriveoptimizationandimprovementofproductdevelopment,marketingtechniquesandbusinessstrategies.
• Assesstheeffectivenessandaccuracyofnewdatasourcesanddatagatheringtechniques.
• Developcustomdatamodelsandalgorithmstoapplytodatasets.
• Usepredictivemodelingtoincreaseandoptimizecustomerexperiences,revenuegeneration,adtargetingandotherbusinessoutcomes.
